Keep climbing. Support your finger.
The Mitzi Ring supports your finger in a half or full crimp position to improve grip strength while you heal from a pulley injury.
- 95%were climbing at or near their previous level
- +42%average grip strength while wearing the ring
From an unpublished, not peer-reviewed retrospective review of 43 climbers fitted with the ring in one hand therapy practice between January and August 2026. Every ring was made by a hand therapist, not from the kit. Individual results vary.
Why not tape
Tape was never enough.
It never has been. Covering a gobie or a split? Sure, it can do that. But if you’re expecting it to keep its shape and stay in place, think again. When you push it to its limit, tape will stretch and tape will slide.
Tape scraps littering the crag? Scraping sticky residue off your hands after every session? Or watching your tape slide further down your finger as you desperately claw at that slopey topout?
You deserve better. So we made something better. You mold it to your finger once, and it keeps its shape and stays right where you want it.
Say goodbye to tape. Say hello to the Mitzi Ring.
What it is
Firm enough to hold its shape. Comfortable enough to wear.
The Mitzi Ring is made from a thermoplastic used by hand therapists. It softens so you can shape it to your finger, then holds that shape. Thin enough to climb in, close enough that you stop noticing it.
Custom-shaped fit. Low profile. Reusable from session to session.
Holds the flexor tendon in position to improve grip strength and return to climbing as your pulley heals on its own.

Who made this

Developed by a hand therapist, for climbers.
Mitzi Harrison is a hand therapist who works with climbers. The kit exists so that the same ring can be made by climbers who will never make it to her practice.
The kit
Made by you at your kitchen table.
Three pre-cut rings you shape to your own finger at home.
